Work will commence on Sunday 03 March 2019, to carry out essential road resurfacing works on The Street/Harleston Road, Pulham St. Mary. It is anticipated that this work will be completed in 1 day, subject to suitable weather conditions.

The Street/Harleston Road will be closed to through traffic during the surfacing work. The closure will be at the junction of The Street/Harleston Road at the junction with Hall Road. A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the works.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during works. The County Council thanks people for their patience while this carriageway surfacing work is carried out.

The work which will cost £28,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.

Funding for this scheme is from the extra £12.694m Norfolk County Council has received from the Government to spend on road maintenance in 2018/19. This money is Norfolk’s share of the £420m, made available to local authorities in England that was announced in the Budget on 29 October 2018.
