The census is a survey that happens every 10 years and provides a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales. You must complete the census by law. If you do not or if you supply false information, you could be fined up to £1,000.00.
All households should complete the census on Sunday 21st March 2021 or as soon as possible after.
Every census completed online saves paper and taxpayers’ money. When you have received details of your household access code you can go to www.census.gov.uk and select ‘Start Census’.
